Oscar Wilde once said "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." As a leading innovator in the industry, CCELL is flattered by competitors on the way to perfection. Lately, we have been asked an increasing number of questions regarding verifying the authenticity of CCELL cartridges. In this article, we touch on a few things you can do to check if your CCELL cartridges are real, without having to tear them apart or conduct any technical analysis.
1. Unrivaled Ceramic Heating Core
CCELL is well-known for our one and only ceramic heating core that play a vital role in creating the extraordinary performance our customers expect. This is the component that sets us apart from competitors and what is most widely imitated.
CCELL’s unique ceramic formula allows for smooth, rich vapors and always delivers extremely consistent performance throughout. Although it is not visible from the outward appearance, if you experience any oil zap, inconformity in flavor delivery, or burnt taste while oil is still abundant, chances are you’ve encountered a knockoff.
2. CCELL Laser Engraved Logo
Most CCELL cartridges have the CCELL logo laser engraved on the bottom metal collar or at the bottom of the cartridge itself. More often than not (subject to the production year) both of these engravings will be present.
3. A Serial Number
We started generating and laser-engraving serial numbers at the bottom of our cartridges in mid-2016. The serial numbers begin with SC, JC, C, L, A, M, or CA and are followed by a series of numbers. Therefore, if a serial number is missing or doesn't follow this pattern, it's likely that you have a fake CCELL cartridge.
If you are still not sure about the authenticity of your cartridge, please contact us for further verification at info@ccell.com, or get in touch with one of our authorized distributors.
